Built in the 17th century, Palazzo Catalani is beautifully set in the Italian countryside, one hour's drive north of Rome. Today, this charming estate with its beautifully manicured gardens offers an idyllic retreat in the delightful medieval village of Soriano nel Cimino. It features a fitness centre and spa with sauna and whirlpool. Once a noble residence, the property offers apartments with a unique style, many featuring original wood-beamed ceilings. The well-equipped apartments include a partial kitchen with hob, microwave, toaster, kettle and coffee machine. Each apartment has a private bathroom with bath or shower, heated towel rail and hairdryer. Satellite TV, DVD player, stereo and iHome alarm clock are also provided. Some apartments have a patio. Free Wi-Fi is available throughout the property.

The on-site restaurant provides delicious Italian and international cuisine in a friendly setting and has an extensive wine cellar. For groceries, guests will find a local supermarket just 400 metres away. Wi-Fi access is available throughout the property, at an additional cost. Palazzo Catalani is just 6 miles from Lake Vico Nature Reserve. The historic city of Viterbo is less than 10 miles away. Rome’s Leonardo da Vinci and Ciampino airports are less than 65 miles away.

PLEASE NOTE: All bookings of 5 rooms or more are subject to the property’s group booking conditions. Full payment for standard rate/flexible rate group bookings must be made 30 days prior to the arrival date and the credit/debit card taken at the time of booking will be charged accordingly. No cancellations or refunds are permitted once payment has been made. The property reserves the right to refuse check in or terminate your stay where any guest(s) is displaying anti-social behaviour. Due to the nature of the property, the property is not suitable or recommended for stag, hen or similar parties. The property requires a valid credit card to charge a refundable security deposit of €100 per apartment upon check in. Your deposit will be refunded at the end of your stay upon inspection of your apartment(s) however please note the funds will only appear in your account once processed by your financial institution. Upon check in all guests occupying the unit including children are required to present a valid form of identification along with the confirmation of your reservation.  Check in is after 4:00 pm and checkout is prior to 10:00 am. Children under 18 are not permitted to stay in the accommodation unless accompanied by a parent or guardian. All under 18’s are included in the occupancy level for your apartment.  Under no circumstances must the maximum occupancy level be exceeded. If you intend to arrive later than midnight on your arrival date please notify the resort as soon as possible. Additional fees apply for the use of certain resort facilities. The number of WiFi devices varies depending on room type. Special requests for accessibility requirements, specific apartment locations and views cannot be guaranteed. The resort operates an on-going refurbishment programme to improve the accommodation, facilities and common areas. Refurbishments or building work may be taking place throughout the year. While the hotel/resort endeavours to keep noise and disruption to a minimum, there may be some disturbance to our guests.

Due to the property’s hillside location we are unfortunately unable to offer guests wheelchair accessible accommodation. Prior to check-in please park your car at the bottom of Via Montecavallo and walk to reception. A porter will then accompany you to the car park to collect your luggage (from 8am to 7pm).

Cancellation Policies;

Please note, if accommodation states (Non-Refundable), you will not be able to cancel or modify your reservation in any way, no refund will be processed. If you do not arrive, 100% of the payment will be retained. For all other reservations you are able to cancel or modify your reservation up to 48 hours prior to arrival. Any cancellation or modification requests within 48 hour of arrival will not be honoured, no refund will be processed. If you do not arrive, 100% of the payment will be retained.

Resort Fees: Please note, it is possible that you may be required to pay for resort fees if you wish to fully utilise all on site facilities. For EU based properties, this fee is optional and is payable only if certain facilities are utilised. For US based properties, this fee is mandatory and is already included in the quoted room rate.

Please also note: A Studio Unit sleeps up to 2 guests, a One Bedroom Unit sleeps up to 4 guests, a Two Bedroom Unit sleeps up to 6 guests.
